Review of BankersTalk «connecting leaders»
on 26th of March 2009: Ways out of the financial crisis

When the crisis at the international financial markets will be over, what the important aspects of management in times of crisis are, and what is required for the economy to grow strong again, were the questions that took centre stage on Thursday March 26th at the seventh BankersTalk in Zurich. At the event, sponsored by Solution Providers and Profidata, Karl Reichmuth, Founder of Privatbankiers Reichmuth & Co, postulated a return to a service-philosophy, which would bring back together decision and responsibility. Thomas Pöck, Partner of the Malik Management Zentrums St.Gallen, encourages companies to develop a consistent understanding of leadership. Ralph Mogicato, CEO of Solution Providers, calls on the banks to work on their dependability. In the discussion round moderated by Martin Spieler, Chiefeditor of the Handelszeitung, the speakers commented on the time needed and the ways out of the financial crisis as well as on the coinciding chances for the industry.

on 9 June 2005: The quality of advice in private banking

The quality of advice is a key factor in private banking. Anyone who wants to improve and simultaneously hone the profile of their bank in an increasingly difficult market sector, needs a structured consultancy process and understanding advisors. That was the bottom line of the presentations and discussions at the first BankersTalk «connecting leaders» event. More than 60 high-ranking private banking represen- tatives met at the new Park Hyatt in Zürich, laying the foundations for a twice yearly gathering. This first “BankersTalk” delivered on the promise of Stefan Staub, CEO of Arevos AG, Dübendorf: to cover a current and strategically relevant topic and set the stage for a lively discussion.
